Frequent Questions About Lake Ozark Self Storage

How long can I rent a unit?

You can rent a unit for as long or as short of a time period as you need. Our rate structure is monthly and we offer month-to-month leases.  We want to make your storage experience as simple and easy as possible. We require a 10 day notice to vacate the unit and cancel the lease.

Can I rent a unit by phone or online?

You can reserve a unit by calling 573-365-0028. The lease will need to be signed in person, for your protection and ours.. At this time, we don't offer reservations or leases online.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • Cash & Checks Accepted
  • Automatic Billing from Checking or Savings Account
  • Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Discover

Who can access my unit?

Your rented unit is secured with your lock and your key. This means only you can decide who has access to your unit. It is our policy to never give anyone who isn't on your rental agreement access to your unit.  However, you are free to divulge your unit number, key, and access code to anyone of your choosing.

If I lost the key to my unit, what can I do?

Our on-site storage manager can cut the lock for you. Do not try to cut the lock yourself. For obvious reasons, we do not allow bolt cutters to be brought on the property.  If you do try to cut your own luck, you may also damage the slide-bolt and door, both of which you will be responsible for the cost of replacement.

I am not sure what size unit I need. Can you help?

Absolutely. Refer to our Storage Units page for rates and size descriptions. If you are still unsure, don't hesitate to call us. We are happy to make a recommendation based on what you tell us you need to store.
